Pray—Serve—Give
Commit to praying with us!
There is no guarantee for what the future brings, but we rest on the fact that GOD IS STILL ON HIS THRONE, and He is sovereign! This has been a season of extremes. For over a year now, the world has felt uncertain and a bit scary. It has felt divided and hostile. We've watched leadership in churches, camps, and schools across the nation struggle to lead the best way they know how.
Here at Camp Zephyr we believe in the power of prayer and we strive to create a place of rest, rejuvenation, and most importantly, a place where others can experience the love of Christ. We would love to welcome you into the Zephyr family and invite you to pray with us for our campers, leaders, and retreat attendees, that they would "taste and see that the Lord is good!" as it says in Psalm 34:8.
If you have already committed to praying for Camp Zephyr, thank you! We appreciate your partnership in this manner and we are thankful for the opportunities and responsibility the Lord has bestowed upon us to share His Light and Love with all who enter our gates.
SUMMER 2021 RECAP
-Zephyr served 5,146 campers representing more than 77 church groups over 10 weeks.
-Most importantly, at least 204 students made the decision to follow Christ for the first time!
-We are thankful for God's faithfulness to Zephyr as we strive to fulfill the Great Commission through camp ministry.
In return, we would like to pray for you! We consider it an honor and a privilege to pray for our guests during our morning staff meetings. How can we pray for you today? Fill out the form below with your requests, and nothing is required so you can remain anonymous if you so desire.
Zephyr has been supported faithfully for many years both financially and physically by the churches and individuals of South Texas. Camp Zephyr has no debt and operates independently on revenue generated from guests' use of the facilities. Any donations, grants, or fundraising dollars are used for camp improvements and allow us to keep the cost of camp affordable while providing a quality camp experience.
One of the best ways to partner with Camp Zephyr financially is to join our monthly giving initiative:
C.O.R.D.
Creating Opportunity Removing Distraction
CORD ministry partners play a vital role in helping Camp Zephyr fulfill its mission to provide a distraction free environment where people can encounter Christ. Gifts from CORD ministry partners help fund a variety of short and long term projects that ultimately create opportunities for students to:
Make lasting memories and lifelong friendships
Move out of their comfort zone
Discover community amongst their peers
Find a safe place to share their struggles
And most importantly, encounter the love of Jesus Christ.
Ecclesiastes 4:12 refers to a cord of three strands not being easily broken.
How much more can a cord of 50, 100, or 500 strands accomplish?
As a way to thank you for your support and partnership, we are pleased to offer the following benefits to CORD ministry partners who commit to giving $25 or more per month through recurring giving:
Thank you gift
Discount in the Zephyr Camp Store
Access to non-public Zephyr programmed events (concerts, block party, etc)
Monthly giving has multiple benefits for both you and Zephyr:
Small regular gifts are easy on your budget and add up quickly when partnered with others who believe in camp ministry and the work that Camp Zephyr is doing.
Your tax-deductible gift is simple to cancel, pause, or change at any time by emailing or calling.
A strong base of individual supporters (even at small amounts) helps Zephyr establish credibility with other funders, including private foundations.
